    Should we resign him?

    If so when.

For me in the summer. Im sure Joe would sign in January but id hate to give Celtic any money for him.

Not good enough to get on our bench, may be Newport could use him.

    Hilts!
Sorry but I don't see him as a player any better than we currently have. Look at the teams he's been playing against up there. I would rather see Harris make the first team.

No Hilts I don't rate him, he's never been one of the speed merchants but since he's been up Scotland he got slower and lazy.

He's been the weakest link in the Wales mid-field at his age he should be at his best not going backwards.

    My opinion only

As stated, he does not bring anything to the team. We need some pace, to go with some passing, and somebody who will track back. That narrows the field down quite a bit :)

I'm sure Joe would love to get back down here, especially now we are in the Pl with a good fighting chance.
Hard to forgive him for how he left us, but thats from a fans point of view, Joe had to think about the money I guess, and I guess he's thinking about the money this coming summer.
Let somebody else have him, not for us. Fans will be divided on this for sure.

I hope we can sign much better than him if we stay up. I guess he'd do a job if we get relegated. Surely we have another centre mids for the time being anyway? I'd like to see us sign some options for left back and both wings.

Don't know if Hilts is taking the piss with this thread (I suspect he might be on a mission here), but Ledley is not the player we need right now. He wont provide the pace we need either in midfield nor outside. On a free as another midfield "string to the bow" would be OK if his wage demands didn't cramp other options, but we need better in the short and long term.

As already said, true pace to turn defenders on the counter attack as well as sustained pace when we're on the offensive (when will that happen I hear you say <laugh>) is the need in January.

I doubt we'll find a genuine quality target/holdup man at that time unless we are prepeared to splash a lot of cash. Don't really want someone on loan unless we have a firm option to buy, and also the intent from the player concerned to play for the move that he really wants.

Forget Ledley for this season. Maybe in June/July things will be different and we'll need a new ballboy.

When signing new players we need someone 10, 20, 30 % better than what we have. Ledley would give us what we currently have or an extra 5%. Occassionally you need a bit of padding in the squad, but centre mid is where we have plenty at the moment.
