Either way its good all round. I'm not sorry to see him go but wish him well - if it hadn't been for him the Great Escape would never have got started.
Even if we had taken up an option of an extra year, I would struggle to think of any manager stupid enough to pay money for him. Was laughable on loan at both Celtic and Leicester.
I have been as harsh a critic as any, but I think we are all thankful for his performance against city which led to the great escape. We were afterall mathematically relegated before his intervention. Otherwise disappointing, but I think a thank you and good luck is in order.
He justified that £6m tag with his second goal against City. That shot was unstoppable, and the two points it earned us kept us up. However, time does move on. There are better options out there now, but I will always have that fond memory of the City game. Farewell Kamara, all the best.
