http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/Bris...banned-drink/story-16617900-detail/story.html Looks like he should have got the lawyer all the other footballers used as he would have got away with it like Beckham and Terry have done many times. Cant imagine DM will be happy with this.
It's always happened and it always will. Give young men a huge (compared to us) wage and they'll spend it on the good things in life such as women, drinking, gambling and other healthy pursuits ! Not a good example even so especially when he was only a 5 minute walk from home !!
Silly Silly boy, 20 months is a little harsh, but marv was being chauffeured into the ground season before last, was that due to drink driving, or was he that lazy? Someone who should have his car taken away from his is skuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse, twice he's almost ran me down the first time he done it i got a autograph and a photo, the 2nd time he done it he recognized me and laughed.... practically best mates
I can't believe he would be driving down Park St at 2AM in a flash Audi A3,less than a mile from where he lives just 11 days after Delboy had given him a chance and a new contract over twice the limit,he deserves the book thrown at him,he is an idiot and does not reflect our club.
How can you keep 'supporting' your football club after it's been tainted by this atrocity? If any Leeds players had done foolish stuff when boozed-up, I'd have been off in a shot. Shame on you.
I wonder if the City players contract has anything in it about being able to travel to training. If so, I imagine that City could terminate his deal and request back-pay from him as the twenty month ban exceeds his full contract. I wanted Edwards to do well, but the last thing you want from an academy graduate is this kind of behaviour, especially when our academy produces so few first-team players. I hope he bucks his ideas up and dedicates himself to training.
