Today Swindon have completed the deals for Barnet's Devera and York City's Smith on two year deals. To be honest I know nothing about either player, though Devera looks as if he was highly rated within League 2 last year. Now we have a new right/centre back and midfielder signed up, now we need a good striker or two to play alongside Benyon. Anyone know anymore of these two players? The SwindonAdvertiser went on to say Di Canio is hoping to complete a deal for an Italian centre back.
Sammy McIlroy released Jonathan Smith four seasons back at Morecambe. Never kicked a ball for the first team because Sammy didn't believe in youth but only journeymen. We gave Perkins away for pittance & now playing at Barnsley. Now Bentley has took charge hopefully that will change & we will see one or two come through.

Went to alot of Barnet games this season, Very sad to see Joey go, Fans favourite and an excellent player, could easily cut it in league 1. always showed 100% commitment and has a very good tackle on him. You've signed a great player
