He's still contracted to Liverpool, but the rumour I read somewhere this morning (can't remember where) was that Liverpool would be prepared to let him leave on a free rather than take him back after his Lille loan. He's played 31 times for them this season, helping them to 3rd place. He is now 30, but has a good 2 years left at the top level, and would be played in the attacking midfield role if Arsenal picked him up. Would you have him?
It's on Sky Sports that he would like to come back to Liverpool but you are probably right that he is not wanted/needed. His stats are not that good with Lille, he's done ok'ish. 42 appearances 9 goals and 3 assists. I maybe being a bit harsh there as that would be good for our midfield.
Well the french league.is pretty under rated but i still dont see him fitting in. He will improve no doubt but he still.suffers from lack of confidence i fear. Though on a free will be interesting but i dont see hin getti g ahead of rosicky
Why is that a relevant comparison? Yossi has always been a utility player, where as Joe Cole was known to go missing even in his younger days. What might he contribute to Arsenal?
