Chaps BBC Sport are stating Cole is set to join West Ham. But its on a permanent deal! What a result if true. No more wage payments/subsidies! No news on the amount, but Cole is said to have had a medical today so its looks more than just a rumour. I quite like the guy but lets face it he's been pretty much a disaster. Well, we still have to pay his signing on fee which we haven't fully paid yet (it was meant to be paid over his full contract) BUT we'll save alot by shipping him off. Cya Joe.
A few million was the total amount because we got him on a free transfer, but we've obviously paid some of that already. Hopefully we can make an agreement with him to pay off a percentage of that rather than the full amount, but who knows. If we're really lucky, West Ham will cover it rather than pay us a fee - but that's a long shot!

Despite the fact he's a prick who's only started playing well when we're trying to find him a new club...I'd keep him til summer. Stewie's really come into some fine form and he'll be useful for us in the second half of the season.
I won't shed many tears if we find a buyer for him but he played very well again tonight. At the moment I think we'll keep hold. Shifting JC is the main thing. Shame he never worked out but good luck to him.
