http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/no-deal-for-joe-797128.aspx No great surprise. He promised much but inconsistent form and frequent minor injuries meant that he rarely, if ever, put in a quality 90 minutes.
On the cards with the retention of Harrold, expensive player only ever played well when playing for the new manager Buckle/Magoo and in fits ant starts for JW probably would have done enough to earn a new contract if he had not picked up an injury definate lucky escape for us. One shame is that on his day caused havoc in opposition defences...wish him well for the future COR
Yeah, didn't really produce for us... hopefully we don't spunk the money away on another waste of space though!
Sorry to Joe go. Scored a few great goals - the first in the rout of Totton, a couple of crackers against Rotherham this season. Tore Burton to shreds before going off injured. On his day really good. Thanks and good luck, I say...
good luck joe. looked like he wasnt interested a lot of the time but i know he was playing carrying an injury so that might explain some of the poor performances. this should free up wages and a younger, faster and more reliable (injury wise) can take his place.
