Probably going to be slated for starting another thread about this. But tonight at a wedding I've heard from someone who know's Joe's dad that he's just bought a new house and is expecting a child. And the person reckons that Joe is happy to stay here for the time being at least. This is not gospel but thought I'd share.
No one should slate you for a thread mate and at least it's a positive one unlike some other miserable gits I could mention. Excellent news if this is right !
This was posted on Planet Swans a couple of weeks ago ,I don't doubt the sincerity of the poster but perhaps things have moved on bit since then
Hope this is true, in all of this we have yet to hear joe's point of biew, a move away would be far better for him next season IMO PS Dont be afraid to post what ever you want on here nathswan, the more articles and info the better
Funnily enough, I was talking to a chap called Gareth Davies last night at a bowls game and he's an estate agent. Young Joe has infact bought a house and the deal went through on Thursday. He also said that during a long discussion, Joe insisted he's very excited to start working under ML.
Well it will be nice to have a £15m+ rated player in our team going into the new season i dont think weve had one before
Little off topic but .... The year Allen played under Sousa , he only started 13 games out of a possible 46 league games . Would anyone know the breakdown between injuries & healthy scratches in the 33 games he didn't start ?
Nath thanks for the message mate, never be worried about the adverse reaction, and good to read so much positive news from more than one source too, lets hope it stays like this!..............
Before I comment , I for one don't want him to leave (even for 15 million) sorry but two / three months ago Rodgers was still the manager and all this press speculation didn't exist.
Surely you would be mental not to take £15m for him though, that dies seem a rather inflated price and would give you enough cash to replace him with an even better option? Having said that, you know what you get with him and changing the team too much can backfire.... Talked myself out of it it would seem... Anyway, good luck next season
Monty, yes he did. But, that is now for sale and he's apparently bought a new house because of the news he's going to be a father. Norwich, think you answered your own statement lol. He's our messiah/creator/heart. Is turn down £25 million for him.
Would love Joe to stay but do feel that there is no smoke without fire, with all the rumours circulating it does seem that he has been tapped up by Rodgers and could be on his way to Anfield or one of the top sides in the prem. Strange how Henderson went to Liverpool for £18 million yet Joe who is ten times more accomplished is not worth £15mill according to some. Watching him tonight for team GB he was once again a class act and should he be sold on whoever gets him for that price will have a bargain.
Some more smoke I'm afraid , Rodgers is "confident" well I hope it's misplaced , really snake in the grass he's turning out to be .Did you know he created a "one- club" when he was here he taking all the plaudits for creating the way we play , sorry sunshine you're being to believe your own hype
