Only saw the highlights, as our local channels thought Benfica v Fenerbache was more noteworthy !!!
What can you say about David Luiz !!!!!!
For what it's worth, Benfica looked quite good, but it did feel like I was watching a lower standard of game. They aren't as good as the equivalent teams in the CL, but their strikers are deadly, Gerd Muller types, one sniff and bang, it's in.
I am confident that we can beat them.
Man U are a different kettle of poissons. I will be very happy with a point, and extremely happy with 3. Hope Luiz and Lamps play midfield.

We are effectively 2 domestic wins away from assuring CL qualification. Beat ManU and Spurs and there's pretty much naff all Arsenal and Spurs can do to catch us.

Also, Oscar, Mata and Cole didn't start - not too dusty really.

Moses is really stacking up to be excellent. With Ramieres able to play in that group behind the front man as well, any 3 from Oscar, Hazard, Moses, Mata and Ramieres is outstanding. That's without considering any of the De Bruyn, Marin & co that are out on loan.

In front of the defence, a 2 from Luiz, Lampard, Ramieres, Mikel, Ake, Josh Mc is also great.

Looking in defence at the quality of Azpilicuata (sp.?) and Bertrand coming through and it all looks pretty sweet.

Up front, Torres still looks like he "might" do it, Ba can be good & Piazon and Lukaku to come through - on our day, I think we are unbeatable. The trick is ensuring consistency. Plenty to be excited about for next season as well.

Over the next week, I'd be realistically happy with 4 points, as long as the 3 comes from Spurs.

CP--I only got to see the goals in the Benfica game! I've got a good mate(A Spurs fan???) who emigrated to Portugal a few years back and he's become a season ticket holder of a club called Ohlanense! He's been to see Benfica on 6 occosions this year and he's going to give me his appraisal of them some time today!

I've not seen any of the Benfica game will do that a little later. I must admit to a little bit of panic during the first half though and games can so easily turn as we know.

Crocano Over the next week, I'd be realistically happy with 4 points, as long as the 3 comes from Spurs.
This is the one I want to win as well due to all the crap we get from most of them over on their thread, so lets hope we get several 'lucky penalties', lucky goals' and 'lucky decisions' and a big lucky win. Just to give them an excuse to moan if we do beat them.

Suits me as well. It would be great if Frank got his 202nd and 203rd goals against Spurs via an on-target deflection and a penalty that was initially saved, but when the ball bounced back out, it hit Frank on the knee and dribbled in.

i would rather frank get his 202nd goal at old trafford, a penalty in the 97th minute to give us a 0-1 win and rooney and ferdinand being red carded and slur alex tripping over and falling flat on his face as he charges out of his dugout at the penalty decision !! :emoticon-0116-evilg

With Howard Webb in charge, if we get a penalty in the 97th minute, Slur Alex will have a massive heart attack and kick the bucket, but not before gasping out to Webb that he wants his bung back !!
I'll also expire of astonishment. !!!!!!

Oh please don't get me excited...... would cap off a dismal week in the Fergie family :emoticon-0100-smile........ should be an open game, Utd you would imagine could throw caution to the wind with nothing to play for. Should suit Chelsea for the counter attack, if Mata, Hazard, and Torres are on form there should be plenty of chances for you guys, at the best of times Man U are dodgy defensively..... with an open attitude, you could be quids in. I have a sneaky feeling it will be relatively high scoring somebody winning 3-2, and I have a leaning towards it being you guys!
