What is the Gas fans thoughts on any possibility of him signing for the Gills, also would you prefer to see him stay or go?

Yes but I am trying to look beyond the situation with Buckle.

I do not go with all this talk of wanting to be nearer London etc.

A commute from London to Bristol is not the most straining situation in the life of a footballer and can be worked around in my opinion.

i wasnt being funny mind brb :)

i would rather him not sign for a league 2 club unles he scores lots vs teams around us :) if we were at the right end of the table then i wouldnt want him scoring goals for a rival if you know what i mean but no chance us being at your end of the season now though.

if he wanted to stay with us as new manager coming in then i still wouldnt want him. he refused to play earlier in the season and once his loan spell ran out few days ago, he went sick on his return conveniently! we dont need a so called professional like that.

CJS - I suppose the only assumption I can give, if the fans had any problems with a manager, why should player(s) not feel the same.
tbh, if I was in your clubs situation, I would be persuading him to stay.

he apparently fell out with trollope last season. after our heavy defeat away to sheff wed he told 'someone' he wasnt going to play next game and guess what, he was apparently 'injured' next game against exeter in the jpt which ended up being trollopes last game as manager. 3 times he has refused to play under 2 different managers and 2 of these times where he refused to play ended up being the last game for that manager.

i would rather see a youngster gain experience. just my opinion. someone who actually wants to be here at the club fighting for 90 mins. havent seen kuffour do that for us for nearly 2 seasons!

CJS - Fair enough, didn't know that stuff, looks like we will have to take him off your hands then.

on his day brb, he could be very good. only when he can be bothered. at the moment he can be bothered as trying to gain a contract to stay with you. its sad really as i think he could improve us massively. i would welcome him back if he gave 100%. but history tells me over the last 2 seasons that he wont give 100%. he was very lazy. never chased the ball. but once he was given the ball he tried the hard things instead of the easy things like taking on 2 or 3 players instead of passing it to someone who was free. lazy and greedy. but you could also see he was frustrated. we sold lambert and 4ft kuffour became our target man. i would be frustrated too. our club has been dying in last 12 months. i would want out too. but he hasnt showed us any professionalism about it.

he could be completely different with you though <ok>

Perhaps with Buckle gone, it could throw it all up in the air. Dont think we need him here though, was decent at times with us, but never did it enough. Brb, you lot will find out just how poor he can be soon enough, so it would be wise of your manager to make sure you have a decent sub to replace him if he dont look bothered after 10 mins!

Imo we should keep him for the rest of the season at least, forget all the **** with him and Buckle and Kuffour not wanted to play for us that's all in the past now, he's banged em in for the gills which shows he's still got it, think about it we need goals to stay up and players like Zebroski can't score for ****, mcgleish can barely last 45 mins, stick kuffour up front with harrold and I'm sure they will make a good partnership. But if he want's to leave then so be it.

When our new manager comes in. I want someone up front that can run a bit. i have always liked Jo. Yet again I have liked a lot of players that we have let go and thought that some of the players that were with us week in and week out were ****e. Reagan straightaway comes to mind. But there you have it. I am only a supporter I don't have a coaching badge so what the f*€k do I know.
