    It is getting colder, windier, rainier and the dog next door wont shut up barking. This sofa I am on also has a broken spring poking in to my shoulder...

    But who really cares! The important thing is that it's my birthday, and that we've had the best start to a season in ages.

    I'm to superstitious to mention the match along side my birthday so I'll leave that.

    Happy birthday JK.

    I was down in Kent the week of the Villa game. It pissed down.
    I was going to watch the game at a pub in Sevenoaks but it rained so much their roof leaked and blew all their electrics.
    Amazingly, there wasn't another pub in the place showing the game so I had to drive somewhere else to catch it.

    I live miles from Sevenoaks. Canterbury is packed with pubs.

    I went to Canterbury when I was down there but it wasn't a match day. Nice place though, and it was sunny that day.
    I was in Tunbridge Wells for the COC game and could only find one pub in the whole place showing that.
    You need to do a bit of missionary work down there.

    I lived in Sevenoaks for 5 years! It's changed now though, too many wine bars and gastro pubs...

    Back then there were pubs everywhere <ok>

    Oh, there were plenty of pubs, they just weren't showing the game. Believe me, I tried 'em all.
