New Celtic strip retailing at £44, BUT
RFC with the old badge but no stars........is reduced by 25% and cost £34.........some even less.

My explanation is the RFC will be liquidated in a few weeks and JJB may surmise that the liquidators my feel the badge has been sold(if it really has) at to low a price. Apparently JJB have no intention of producing the RFC 3rd top???

Do they know something we dont given the fire sale??

Yeah they do RB, but it still doesnt make sense. JJB are effectively saying that a Celtic top is more valuable than a RFC top. I think they are dumping stock before they are told that they cannot use the old badge. They still can while RFC are not fully liquidated, but once they are..................cant see how they can continue to use the badge. I may be wrong but to continue with the badge as RFC they would have to pay off RFC debts pre admin.
Recall Traynor saying he wanted to buy the old Airdrie badge but was told he would have to pay the debts.

That jersey will never be worn. It was released by Rangers and now they don't exist. Unless Sevco were planning on wearing the same jersey?

Problem RD is that badge. I dont think they can wear the badge, otherwise the creditors can assert in a court that they are a continuation of the old RFC and go after them for debts. Not just HMRC and Ticketus but other creditors. I agree that whatever way this is looked at this is an old jersey.

Best part is that the other mob are buying them up..................could be valid for about 2 weeks.....LMFAO

Think I'll dig out my old Third Lanark top lol.

I don't know if the badge and name will be contested by BDO. How much is such a contaminated brand worth?

With the season less than a week away, Sevco have been Rangersing themselves up and down the place to try and get the rub from a Rangers brand and only managed to sell 450 season tickets.

Whatever value the brand had has been absolutely decimated by Murray and Whyte, so Sevco may get to use it. I am not discounting it entirely but I don't see Sevco having to start a new brand altogether. The Rangers brand is only worth something to Sevco and nobody else. Green would have to argue that they are using a brand that only has value to them if the creditors did come a callin'.

I think that only matters to us as fans. This ridiculous charade that is being played out by Sevco and their fans, the SFA and the media that insist that this is still Rangers. They all know it is bollocks and they can't even convince themselves. Just to put and end to that **** I would take a lot of pleasure out of it if BDO told Sevco to change the livery and **** like that, I just don't see it happening.
