Will you cheer jimmy on to the pitch if he plays against blackpool?

yes, I've said this before about Jimmy and any other City player, regardless of what they are doing off the field, if they are on the pitch they get my full support

True, but the West Stand will either sit in silence or stony silence.

Is this referring to the myth that only the east stand nakes noise

Cant see why anybody wouldnt cheer him onto the pitch (assuming hes playing for us) what happens next is down to his commitment on the pitch

The East Stand is supposed to be the noisy stand.

The West Stand is where many people pay three times as much for their season tickets on the understanding that they're not expected to sing.

Last season, the East Stand did a very good impersonation of the West and therefore, are in no position to criticise.

Ermm.. surely east standers should be taking the piss as they're getting the same 'comfort' and paying 3 times less??

The East Stand is ultimately the 'noisy stand' - when people say there's no atmosphere at the KC, they mean the only section of the ground which creates an atmosphere (E1-E5) isn't making any noise.

People who sit in the East Stand therefore can't criticise anybody, as they are meant to be the ones who create an atmosphere.

I sit in the ES, and quite frankly it was embarrassing last season when, knowing you're supposed to be part of a group of fans who chant, there isn't anything of that sort going on around you. I don't know how this can be resolved, but blaming the poor home form last season is a ****e excuse <ok>
