Hope he pulls through....a great player in his day and unlucky not to make the 66 team.
 
Great player and articulate and attractive personality. The period of alcoholism when he stopped playing may be taking its toll. I wish him well.
 
My only memory of seeing him live was 1969 at Loftus Road where he scored for Spurs in a 1-1 draw. If my memory serves me correctly, I'm pretty sure he put the ball in the net with his hand!
 
From a purely personal perspective, not wishing to start an argument, the best ever English striker. Good luck Jimmy.

Went to a Q an A with Jimmy a good few years ago and he took questions from the audience, i asked him about that incident he laughed but said it went in off his thigh, i said he was very much mistaken
