Has he cemented his place or should we go back to Flannagan and Baldwin ?

I'd definitely stick with him but who's his best partner ?

    Whats the best Combo ?

He's under an ex centre half, can only get better , doesn't look fazed by the pressure. Wonder if his contracts nearly up :emoticon-0138-think

Looks like he's free in summer.

Also better than Loovens and Ozturk , not that that is saying much.

What was there names MBC that full back wouldn't get a game at Murton Colliery Welfare !

I'm gutted we've missed out on the Shildon lad at the Boro, my Aycliffe pals rated him big time, our Scout should be shot.

Dare I say it without upsetting every f ooker as usual but shhhhh, I don't rate Baldwin or Flannagan. They turn slower than Paul Butler :emoticon-0127-lipss

I think Baldwin and Flanagan are both alright for this level, they're competent enough and throw themselves in front of everything, especially Baldwin. I wouldn't fancy them as a pairing if we got back to the prem but they're fine for league one and have little to do with why we don't win enough.

Perhaps, I guess I judge them on the McPhail/Bennet partnership last time we were down here.

Getting back to penalties on the other thread, McPhail was superb for a C/B, old lads will remember.

I remember after getting promoted to the premiership (division 1 back in the day) Smith gave McPhail his 1st ever start in the top league. We lost 3-2 to Norwich if I recall and he didn't get a game again (That may not be factually correct)
