was doing the rounds again and talking to a few city fans and i heard it mentioned that Jimmy Bullard may be getting called back from Ipswich ?

Anything in this ? don't see why we would need him, only reason i could see is that Pearson doesnt want Ipswich finishing above us

I think they spent 320 thousand quid of his wages to keep him till the end of the season and I do'nt believe we have a call back clause in there.
Also why on earth would we be worrying about Ipswich finishing above us if we do'nt make the playoffs anyway?
Non starter this story in my opinion

Since we've played them twice already there's no advantage in recalling him unless NP thinks he could use Jimmy's skills on the park for us.. but we're talking dead ball positions, Koren is my preference for play maker..

He couldn't play against us even if we did have to play them again.

Maybe this just means he'll be back here and playing for us next season?

I hope that's the case, but as for this season, I think AP has set up the deal so it's more or less impossible for him to come back.

    TWF,

It's time to face the reality of the situation.Bullard will never play for us again.I have actually warmed to you, not in a gay way,and find some of your posts amusing.

The whole Bullard thing has to stop though son.

    Let it go,it's gone,it's over.

Time for you to start the grieving process.

    It's for the best.

No chance we'll recall him, neither Pearson wants anything to do with him, he'll never play for us again.

Nobody wants him back, bar TWF and a few kiddies.

Edit: Bar a few kiddies, including TWF.

Derby fans who buy a season ticket can get a full refund at any point before next season starts if they're not happy with the transfer business they do in the summer. I suspect that season ticket applications have fallen off a cliff.

"So that's Ronaldo, Xavi, Iniesta, Maicon and Casillas signed for 1p each"

    "Erm, where's Messi?"

"Well, we couldn't persuade him to give up La Liga and the Champions League for a 2nd tier relegation dogfight with a team based in one of England's ****test towns. Sorry."

    "That's it. Money back please."

    Fair, I'm ****ing hilarious.
    Aaw.
    God.

    Damn. It get's worse.

What am I grieving? Jimmy Bullard or just this club's ambition in general?

    Really not sure it is.

    I don't get it.

So what do we do if nobody comes in for him in the summer? I think the best way is clear the air talks if they're possible.

I suspect that as the condition is you ask for the refund before the start of the new season it also involves giving up the season ticket rather than being a loophole to getting a free one. ;)

Really ****s them over though if they go and spend the season ticket money on a few big signings who the fans disagree with, like a Marlon King or something like that

Bollocks, JB is one of the best players in this division and he's tearing it apart at Ipswich. We have a gaping Bullard-shaped hole in our midfield right next to the Ashbee-sized one. Harper and Evans are nothing special and I still can't decide if either of them are particularly attacking or defensive.

We should be building next year's team around him, rather than pretending he's rubbish/past it. He hardly had a chance this season and now he has got fit and got a decent run in the team he's playing great.

Oh but he drinks doesn't he! ;)

You get £700,000 for every team you finish above in the Prem... should mean something in the Championship too, only not as much
