I remember him at Oxford in 1984 when they won the old Third Division (League One) - I travelled to the Manor Ground that year for our game with them, we won 0-1, we scored early, and then defended the whole game from an onslaught, it was a smash and grab on the points. - We were the only team to beat them at home that season.
