    Just seen that Arsenals South Korean has been allowed to put off his compulsory military service for 10 years.. Does anybody know if Ji has done his service yet or are we gonna lose him soon for his 2 to 3 years national service?

    They have to do 21 months, and they have to start it before their 30th Birthday.

    Seemingly and this is according to Bruce, if they get a medal at the Olympics, they could all be giving exemptions from doing it at all.

    he is 21 in May so he already has 9 years before he has to do it.

    Park Chu Young is 26 hence why he has probably been given special dispensation, but that sets a precedent now, for the future.

    tbh i dont think he will be a Sunderland player for the next 9 years, but time will tell.

    Wouldn't be that bothered if if did go off to be fair.

    I don't think he's an integral part of our future plans, other than to attract a new Korean investor and don't really rate the lad.

    He seems like a nice kid but he is no EPL footballer imo. I may be proved wrong but I wouldn't even have him in the squad over Noble or Lynch at the minute.

    I can't believe you are slagging ji off as ****e,the lad has not played probably more than ninety minutes in total so far this season.
    He is a promising prospect as is whickham,noble etc.
    You cannot judge him on what he has done so far,if mon has him as part of the first team squad he must be half decent.

    I've seen a lot of noble. I rate the kid. I've seen Wickham. I like the lad. I've seen Ji. He will never be a top player in the EPL.

    I call it as I see it.
