JIMMY FLOYD HASSELBAINK wants to demolish his house and rebuild one with a trophy room — despite only ever winning ONE pot.

And his neighbours are up in arms over the disruption his plans will cause to the leafy Surrey cul-de-sac.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has upset his neighbours with plans for a demolition job
Chelsea icon JFH, whose sole silverware was the 1997 Portuguese Cup, aims to build a five-bed pile with cinema, and one resident said: “We don’t want our garden used as part of a building site.”

Here is how Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's new trophy room might in Surrey might look
Hasselbaink was caught up in the football scandal at the start of the season - that cost Sam Allardyce his dream job as England manager - after trying to sell an after-dinner speech for £55,000 a-pop.

But he must still have a few quid stashed away to be able to cover the lavish rebuild he hopes to get past neighbours.

I've ticked 'yes' to the poll but actually I'm sad. I wanted him to do well and lead us to glory.

I voted not sure.......time will tell. If Ollie is worse or better than JFH in the next few months, I may then vote negative or positive.

As Ellers would say, I am firmly sitting on the fence.

It was like the dark clouds of recent months had been blown away on Saturday.

I'll sit on the fence too. I'm not yet caught up in this wave of Holloway euphoria, but I genuinely hope it's justified

I'm not glad Jimmy's gone so voted No. I like him. As one grumpy old git, I probably feel more comfortable with a grumpy Young Manager, or as I like Colin too, a grumpy old Manager come to that. I don't feel too comfortable with our new resurrection hugging the the big hefty head honcho in the tunnel for minutes before his first game, and continually saying how much he loves us and has always loved us - grumpy old gits have heard it all before.....

He only needs something the size of an airing cupboard for his 'stash', I mean, how big does it have to be for a wooden spoon?...

He's already better Fin. When you consider that in four days Ollie fielded a full team with players playing in their correct positions and a formation and gameplan that proved fruitful with less than a minute on the clock, then he has already made huge strides in improving us. JFH persisted with his flawed formation and complete lack of game plan even though it didn't work game after game after game. The football was some of the worse I've seen for years and going to watch QPR became a chore and a bore. He said that he would build his team around Chery playing in the No. 10 role as he couldn't be played in a different formation or position. It didn't work. He played four or five players out of position every game.
Ollie comes in and plays Washington in his best position, up front and not playing the lone striker. He played Cousins in the middle and not on the wing. He deployed Perch and Robinson as wing backs and three center backs in a back three that looked comfortable in a 3-5-2 formation. He also had a in-game management plan that was fluid and which he changed and adjusted when the on field proceedings necessitated and our team playing on the front foot with more energy and pressing high at home. In fact everything we've been crying out on here for ages. Hallelujah!
