Surprise! Surprise! I suppose Jewell wants to keep Leadboots because of the 2 reasonable performances that he has just put in. All I can say is that Leadboots owes us 2 good performances after all the **** we have seen from him over the last 3 years! It seems obvious to everyone, apart from the thick scouser, that Leadboots is putting himself into the shop window for this summer! I still cant work out why Jewell is treating Hyam like **** by leaving him out for the last 3 games.

I think the majority of Town fans would happily see Leadboots depart in the summer let alone offer him a contract extension! What do you think?

I think Leadbitter is a better player than Hyam.

I think he'll be off in the summer. Too much abuse from the Town support for him to stay.

The £2.6m transfer fee was too much. He's a good player but doesn't show it often enough.

Hyam was one of the reasons we got tonked at Brighton. He is one for the future but it's too much to ask him to play every game right now.

I'm hoping that Stevenson can be a direct replacement if he goes. I'd be happy enough if he stayed though.

    Verdict, not arsed....

Time to reevaluate our opinions on every player at the club.

In a failing team Leadbitter was a liability, playing himself into trouble and giving the ball away in dangerous areas.

He's not Premier League quality and Luke Hyam is, but the days of constantly chopping and changing the playing staff are now hopefully behind us.

Would rather see him leave so that others get a chance.

i'm not a great fan of leadbitter, we could do a lot worse than him though. depends on the terms offered to him really. good squad player, definitely not captain in my opinion.
