According to Ex Ipswich Skipper Jason De Vos who played for Jewell at Wigan. The other pearl of wisdom he says "You don't become a bad manager overight".

    Two things:

    1. Ellington, Ingimarsson, Sonko, Bowyer, Bullard, 2 Loan Keepers

    2. You don't become a bad manager overnight but what about 5 years! Just ask Derby and Sheffield Wednesday.

I did think about raising this a few days ago. When he was at Wigan he did an incredible job getting them up to the PL so he must have something about him? ok, since that time his track record has been nothing to write home about.

From what I can remember, he didn't splash out a load of money to do it either, most of the players came through from league 1!

White Horse-He is here to stay.

Bids would not have been submitted if he was going to be sacked.

Imagine Major Clegg C.B.E. and Evans trying to find a new manager in March. We could end up with someone like Roy Keane................................

I think you should all think for a minute what you are saying !
It doesn't seem like five minutes ago you were all singing about the legend of Mr.Keane and how it was only a case of when not if you were going to be prem league, remember how that turned out for you!
So now after not even a full season in charge you want this manager out ! get real binners the way forward is not to keep sacking your manager when there's a dip in form, Rome wasn't built in a day, and if you do get Jewel sacked then where will it all go then for the team?
A manager needs time to put the whole inferstructure in place, we were there not so long back jumping from one manager to the next, and look where that got us!
You like we were are in a re building phase which will take more than a season to do, so i think you could do a lot worse that Jewel imo, you wont go down this season as there are three really ****e teams below you, yeh im sure finishing 16th or 17th aint what you'd like, but after a summer transfere's in's and out's next season will be much better.
    Keep the faith

or you could always watch us?
