love might be too strong a word. you need to sign him a strike partner with an equally silly name! can't recall who it was for but i seem to remember seeing two goal scorers pop up on the old teletext service (remember that?!)... first scorer was SMALL, second scorer NOBBS. made me chuckle anyway. mind you, i was about ten...
I always liked to Wanchop - Dickov strike partnership, personal favourite of mine. Also I'd like to point out that we are (apparently) being linked with Gary Madine of Sheff Wed, if they don't get promoted then it could be a strong possibility and would be a great signing from League 1 if we could pull it off, On the topic of Kuszczak, not too sure on this really, just because he was at United for a while doesn't mean he's good. The cynical Town fan in me says it's another player who's sat on the bench for a Prem team on high etc. and turns out to be pretty dire. The fact he hasn't had too much game time is what worries me as I'd prefer a Keeper who has averaged more than 10 games a season for the last 6 years, but potentially could be a great signing
You don't get to be with United for this long if you don't have something to offer. Sure he may not be first choice there, it is a very important job being United keeper, but he has to be ready and able if needed to step in. He was behind Van de Sar for ages too don't forget. Fergie's not known for having hangers-on around his club.
To be completly honest i have been thinking alot about Cox just lately and would openly welcome Cox into the fold. Would love to see Cox shooting 3 or 4 times in 90 mins ...
