So after the way he was used last night, does anyone see him hanging around past the transfer window?

He has 2 options. Feel sorry for himself and sit on the bench all season or show Cotterill the JET we all watched at the beginning of last season, that player is in there. I just don't think Cotterill knows how to use him. He was on course for 30+ goals until Cotterill arrived but Baldock wasn't scoring and missing sitters. Seems he got the best out of Sam which saw JET suffer.

I think Cotts sees him as a risk too far. Lets face it he could have come on with 20 mins to go and stuck one in the top corner to give us a 1-0 win, but he also could have come on for the last 20 mins and done nothing and left us playing with only 10men. I cant see him being deployed in any close games

I think he would be better off not being used at all rather than come on for about 30 seconds each game- Bit of an insult really. Daft thing is that the statistics will show that he has not scored in any appearances this season too!.
I like JET and think it would be a shame if he left but there is no point using him like he is being used.

You cannot dismiss Jets talent, but you can question his work rate, i think SC would prefer a player giving 100%, and not waiting for that magic moment which may not come, if you want to be a top team you need eleven committed players, not ten and one luxury.

Historically I think Cotts teams have been known more for their effort and commitment rather than for flowing football.
At this level however, effort and commitment may be enough if the squad are focused and work for each other

Without work and commitment we will get…..Div 2.
How any of us can criticise Cotterill based on his record so far is totally beyond me, and those that do ought to be subjected to a season of following the Gas

I'm not criticising his record but I'm entitled to express an opinion on last night.
What was your view from 'up North' ?

Rp your right to have your opinion, of that we have no doubt, but if you listen to SC assessment of the game, it differs somewhat to yours, now who do we think is right, that's down to opinions, but i think SC was spot on.

To be honest i don't care about his either, my opinion, it was a game both managers didn't want to lose, and it was reflected in the game, both hoping to nick a goal, which didn't come, although Baldocks goal should have stood, in the end draw fair result.

I thought we showed signs, in the second half, of early last season form, giving the ball away, daft passes across the keeper, short passes and at times a tendency to hoof it. Hope I am just too worried about it and that SC sorts it out.
As for JET still think we should keep him and use him. 30 seconds was just plain daft and not sure what it says to the player.

With JET I think it's quite simple, he's not playing because he doesn't work anywhere near as hard as Wilbraham does. Tuesday night both Wilbs and Baldock were closing down their back 4, whereas JET doesn't give you that work-rate, he's a luxury, and I think that's how Cotts sees him. I think it's fair enough, and now it's up to JET to prove he wants to fight for his place.
