All the **** people give him directly on twitter is ****ing embarrassing. JET needs to knuckle down and sort himself out. I would rather him be in our team than an opponents but he does need to improve, we want to see the JET that we saw at the start of last season. If he can be that player again then everyone's happy. Cotts needs to stick by him, give him a bit of confidence or what ever. Will only benefit BCFC

Bristol City is one of the last chances he'll get at a larger club, and I use the term larger club very loosely when talking about is because ultimately if we're looking over the last few decades we're far from a large club. If JET fails here I can't see any top League 1 teams wanting to go for him without him coming on a free.

As I mentioned in the previous thread, I reckon he'd do a lot better as a midfielder. He can hold up play really well, and if we put him in the middle of the park he'll have to adapt his style of play to distribute instead of waiting.

I don't think he's a lazy player, personally. I just think that he's always been viewed as the big man upfront when in the times I've seen him push back he's actually been quite good.

Starting to wonder if we're best cashing up on him.. He's a great player on his day but those days are slowly becoming non existent.. Attempting to swap agard for JET plus cash seems like a good idea to me..

Some people in the crowd cheered when he was substituted - well done to them for supporting the team (not!) - for god's sake everyone needs to stick together if we are going to get somewhere

Was they cheering Wilberham coming on? Sometimes you have to make yourself be heard and they could of been cheering him going off, that might be the kick up the arse he needs. He might be sat there thinking they loved me last season I ought to put effort in to get them back on side or he could slope off in a tantrum.

Or as I said they could of been just cheering the introduction of a newbie.

I have been saying he was lazy since the first game I saw him play, he's an enigma, an individual who can be very talented..and score goals for you.

We need a team all singing from the same sheet, Its not all about him.!

Spot on banksy and as the old saying goes "there is no I in team". End off, shape up or ship out.

He is the most skilful player at the club and possibly in the division. Goals and assists is not to be sniffed at. I glumly predicted he would not prosper under Mr Cotterill, and he is nose diving. If his future is to be played as he was last night he should be tranfer listed, there are players in non league who would be more effective. The same goes for Wagstaff and others. Play players for what they are not in manners where they will fail.

Do I get the impression Cliftonville that you think SC is playing players in positions where they are no benefit to themselves or the club? Isn't that eerily similar to complaints about just about all of our previous managers? When will we ever learn?

This boils down to a simple choice..

Do you want a potentially fantastic Jet in the side playing like he did last night?

    Or

A less talented Wilbraham playing in the side like he did on Saturday ?

    Potential means nothing without application.

Last night was just odd. It was one game where the team "appeared" to be selected to fail. It was all poor from tactics to pre match "I don't think we are going to win the league cup, so there will be lots of chnages", or whatever the Manager said ... And its JET who gets battered.

Poor zonal marking apart there was much to nod at Saturday. I expect to be back to there is much to nod at this Saturday.
