How will the new messiah use our most skilled player.

Certainly not one for wanting it on his head with woosh football.

I little bit of advise that a lot of us would love to see-

Play jet behind two strikers in the middle, let him dictate the play.

If it works fantastic,if not fair play to you for having a go.

It would be a good start to trying to get fans onside.

Yeah agree with wiz here. Whoever isn't on Cotts side aren't fans and shouldn't go down the gate! Be grateful we could of ended up with Holloway!

was gutted we got him, but after listening to him i have changed my mind somewhat,, liked his enthusiasm and spirit also the magic line " play it at a high tempo".
obviously time will tell, and the speed at which we employed with all the recent managers who came available surprised me a lot, but the fact is.................................hes our manager NOW and we will all without doubt get behind him, at least i hope so!

I may be firmly on the fence about SC and putting up with the splinters that are bothering my rear.
But that will not stop me being there at all home matches to support BCFC like I have done all my life.

I genuinely hope that he will, in spite of my reservations, bring some good times back to Ashton Gate. I don't expect the rest of this season to provide us with pretty football so long as it arrests the slide.

But SC should always be reminded that at Bristol City we all demand that the winning should always be with style. Winning ugly is not our way, never has been and as a memorial to John Atyeo, never should be!

Got to love it when a fan reckons he knows more about tactics than someone who has been a professional player and manager all his working life.

"if its not, fair play to you for having a go" - as if that would be the attitude...instead idiots will be calling for his head.

Please for goodness sake, lets leave him to do the job he is paid to do.

I whole heartedly agree with the sentiments aired here. Let's allow the man a bit of breathing space and time to show us whether he has the ability to save us from the dreaded drop. Although at present I wouldn't mind "winning ugly" a few times rather than "losing/drawing ugly" which is what we have been doing sometimes. Here's hoping for a brighter future at the Gate.

No mate, I'm one of those which has become fed up with the continual criticisms, some quite justified and the crap we have all endured and our team has served up , we have a new manager, a fresh start and I just want to get behind him and encourage support for the team and him regardless of reputation.

I like the fact he is not a professor, a know-all or a pompous ass, he just comes across as a genuine fella who wants to get on with the job, if he fails and starts to diminish our club even more that will be a different matter.

In the mean time I just want to support Bristol City FC and shout up the City...

No he certainly isn't a professor. Described by some Forest fans as a "moron".
So we have gone from one extreme to the other in terms of intellectual approach.
Personally, having looked at their comments and talked to a mate who is a life-long Forest
fan I feel we have dropped ourselves right in the sh1te!

When we've signed players from other clubs the fans that tell you what you are getting
are nearly always spot on. That is why my confidence in the future has now hit an
all-time low. Just hope SC can prove me wrong and all those who want to give him a
chance turn out to be the smart ones.
