Left winger Jerson Cabral transfers immediatly from Feyenoord to Swansea City on a 3 to 4 year contract(exact term unkown). Swansea pays around 950,000 pounds for the 21 year old winger from Rotterdam. Source: http://www.vi.nl/nieuws/227014/Meerjarig-contract-voor-Feyenoorder-Cabral-bij-Swansea.htm
Wow. Didn't see that one coming. Cove. What you know about him? EDIT: 21 year old winger, U21 Dutch international. This one was out of the blue.
Fast, agile player. Good long distance shot and can take a free kick. However there is a huge drawback to this kid. He is inconsistant as Danny Graham has a game scoring streak. One game he is brilliant, the next one invisable. And with invisable i mean you have to get a pair of binoculars to spot him. Bit of a temper aswell. I personally am not too fond of him, I've seen better wingers in the Eredivisie, but they do cost a lot more.
Well, if he wants to be here. then welcome. Hope this is not at the expense of hernandez. Looks like another one for the future.
KJ, If i am honest cant see it. Apparently bid accepted for Hernandez. So i see this as good cover and one who hopefully will come for the future.
I have to ask, who is going to step aside for the new players? routs and dyer are virtually unplayable against the opposition right now. I know its a long season but i would really feel for routledge if he ends up on the bench to accomadate hernandez and others.
Maybe destined for the U21s for now until he develops a tad? Looks like great cover in the event of injuries though.
He will become 22 years of age on January 3d. Feyenoord manager Ronald Koeman ditched him from the squad a week ago, his services were no longer needed. I highly doubt he will be in the starting eleven this seaason.
Oh yes, after having played 5 or 6 games in the first eleven he got cocky and refused to extend his contract, demanded higher salary and bonusses. Feyenoord had offered him new terms on a 4 year contracts but he wanted more, Feyenoord eventually withdrew their offer and sold him to you this evening.
Interesting. Can't see Laudrup putting up with that crap. He'll have to grow up or his stay will be a short one. Let's hope he gets his down, works hard and fights for a place. Thanks for the insight, Cove
