Do you all remember him? He looked a really good prospect to me when we signed him, unfortunately injuries ruined it for him... https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/2097...080123&utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1673185946
We signed him in our first season in League 1 mate. He looked really good in spells but his injury record was horrific
Came on at HT for O'Nien in the Charlton game where we won in injury time. Looked the business, but got an injury in that game and never really got in the team after that. Was sent back in jan and bobbed around the leagues for a couple of years. Was a good article in The Athletic at the weekend
About 4 years ago I think. Seemed quite quick and looked a possible. Should have made a few bob though as he was at Watford and they paid a few million for him IIRC, from what was said when he turned up here. Good luck to him, but it's work from now on in!
Watch series 1&2 stid last week whilst off work. (Yeah, I know) Saddo. Seen him on there as I'd tried to erase that all from memory.
I remember the game mate...if it's the one where Gooch scored last minute in opening game. Just can't remember Sinclair
I keep watching them ...just to remind me how good we've got it. Some of the footage, especially in that relegation season from the championship was horrific. People who doubt Patto just have a look at Camp, Steele, and Ruiter. People who doubt playing with no striker should look at Ashley Fletcher. Love Gary Bennett's line when he says " this lad looks like he's gonna burst into tears". Those who question anyone's attitude from anyone should look no further than Darren Gibson. Those who question Ross wanting financial stability should look at that CUN* Rodwell. Those who question Speakman should have a look at Bain. Those who question Tony Mowbray getting it wrong sometimes, should have a reminder of Grayson and his calamities. Those who question youth (and the risks of inexperience) should remind themselves of the immobility of John O'Shea. Those who question our transfer policy of bringing in unknown young lads with potential should question how long you hold on to players who are past their best, cost a fortune, are unable to deliver, and cost us the fans our happiness but more importantly over 120 people in the club their jobs and livelihoods. I look back at the abject displays where we were thumped regularly without response. - and take pride now that we won't go down without a fight. Those who question our "average" home record now should look back and remember it took us a YEAR to win at home. The one constant that spans the gap between that horrific season and now is the constant support, especially away from home, that all our fans have given to all the lads who have worn the shirt. without it I dread to think where the club might have been. Long live SAFC and LONGER live the supporters FTM HYawaaaaaaay
