a good signing in my opinion.

ignore his goal ration and focus on what he brings to the party - pace, power, aggression and experience.

i can see the likes of grabban and hooper enjoying playing with the big guy.

he's played most of his career in the top flight because he's a good player <ok>

We lack players with a presence so this is a good signing I suppose, it's good to have more options and people we can bring off the bench.

Really strong signing...providing this isn't paving the way for hoopers departure...not that I think it is. Perhaps now someone will put poor Becchio out of his misery.

We need someone who can make an impact off the bench - other than perhaps Murphy I don't think we had that last night. With Howson and Hooper coming back those are three very good options.

City have signed Grabban, Jerome and Lafferty for considerably less than the total price Ross McCormack cost.

    Context.

Even more ironic as Fulham have just lost 1-0 at home to Wolves with McCormack drawing a blank yet again. The situation is also surprising considering Mark Fotheringham was in the starting line-up (subbed after 50 minutes).

As for Jerome, his recent scoring record, IMO, reflects the playing style of Pulis at both Stoke and Palace. Playing in a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 with the likes of Grabban, Lafferty and Wes he may well surprise some people.

And quite possibly with combined wages that aren't that different too!

You have a bargain in Jerome, and I wish him and Norwich all the best. Pulis never gave him a chance truth be told.
I guess he doesn't fit into M Hughes thoughts, and I'm sorry to see him leave.
His goal ratio isn't the best but I can see him fitting in well at Carrow Road. His pace is fantastic & he will surprise many Norwich fans. Honest player, gives his all and I'm sorry we never saw more of Cameron.

I will be looking to see how Jerome does this season. Hope he scores loads of goals & good luck for the season.

Most of what I can say about the guy has already been said. Works hard, causes problems to defenders and will create openings/chances for others.

All-in-all, pretty pleased with this signing. Bit like Wilbrahamovic - but better <ok>

If he scores any like this it'll get us out of our seats:

For all "his goal record's not great", if you look at his record in the Championship alone, it's not bad at all!

Useful addition, adds something new. I really hope this isn't a sign we're offloading Hooper (Becchio is good to go) but otherwise another decent one.

I hope I don't speak too soon but I feel this season is slowly coming together...

I think the Summer has worked out very well. Shame about Fer but inevitable but we look to have strength in depth upfront and can afford an injury which we are bound to get at some point. Another CB is crucial to complete the jigsaw I think, because Howson will be the CAM when he is fit.

    Cheers PM.

Always liked Jerome. Good to get other team's feedback on a player. That's why I prefer reading / posting on here than on any of the exclusively Norwich fans boards.

There's a pic on the Pink Un website of him in training.

Off to get it printed on the back of your shirt SN ;)?
