I know not football topic but do you think he says the N word here??? http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/video-watch-jeremy-clarkson-use-3481201
A man who certainly believes his own publicity.. Comes across as a cock to me, but then I don't get a hard on over cars..
I firstly am not a fan of "Toys for boys" show fronted by Clarkson and I am also passionate about the need for racial and sectarian tolerance. However I do have a little bit of sympathy with him because as I was born in 1943 long before most of us understood what racism was, I learned and used the offending "Eenie, meenie, etc" without at that age understanding how offensive it was. Once such expressions are in one's memory, they do have a nasty habit of slipping out, usually under very minor stress. So don't be too hasty to judge JC on that. As a personal example, I very occasionally call my wife by my late first wife's name when under stress even though its 16 years since she died. Thankfully she just laughs.
i was about to say i like top gear and think the 3 of them are funny! that must confirm im a ****er then
ROD when you start a new relationship/marriage in one's late fifties, there is history. If there wasn't, the person would not be real. Anyway as I do all the cooking, she knows she is on to a good thing!
I like Jeremy Clarkson and this has all been blown totally out of proportion. One thing in the world that really pisses me off is how people can be offended by the "n" word, yet will sing along with a song that has it in...... If the word offends them when a white person says it, then it should offend them when a black person says it, we're all the same. Clarkson wasn't being racist, he wasn't calling somebody it in an aggressive way, in fact he wasn't calling anybody it. So this shouldn't even be news.... ****ing pathetic
hmmm I don't find you bad as a person but a follower of top gear or not we knew you were a ****er anyway #brfc
Its the version I grew up with was in the nursey rhyme book i had as a kid and I still sometimes do it in my head and it unfortunate it slipped out of his mouth. Shiny 100% agree with you as does stan collymore seeing the abuse he gets on twitter etc is just disgusting but I also see where they are coming from trying to turn the word from negative cogitation to a positive one.
i remember when clarkson was on the one show and there was outrage in the news and papers because he said something bad about civil servants. but if you watched the whole show you can see he was only joking yet the press/news only showed the bad bit and not all of it so they made him look really bad. would be interesting to see what clarkson does about this as his tweet saying the mirror has gone too far this time could see a legal case! wont be surprised to see a very small section in the paper where no one can see it in a few days time apologising.
Yeah I listened to it earlier. He shouldn't even have to be forgiven A. it was NEVER meant to be seen. B. it wasn't aimed at anybody.
i disagree with you, it makes no difference if it wasnt meant to be seen or if it wasnt aimed at anybody. its a word which offends people. i agree with you on your earlier comment, white people saying the n word is offensive so black people shouldnt be allowed to say it either. if 1 black person says to another "whats up my n" there is nothing wrong with it. but if a white person says it its racist! should be the same rule for everyone. even though clarkson has said an offensive word, i understand and accept his reasons and this should end. but because its clarkson i think he is on the end of a witch hunt.
I can't remember seeing many black stars on 'Top Gear', I never thought about it until this arose today and I do enjoy 'Top Gear' and you could call me an ancient 'Petrol Head' but that would be ageist.
