Do we really need yet another midfielder? It's probably just rumours, but I'd prefer to see more stories linking us with defenders or strikers!
I agree , we've still got Kemy coming back ,Mark the Power Gower, De Guzman , strengthen at the back me thinks is more of a priority
No question we need more strength/options at the back. Perhaps Laudrup is looking for a midfielder/s who will keep the pressure off our defence.
Or maybe he's looking to adopt the Spain/Barca tactic of playing Midfielders in central defence - Busquets / Mascherano ? Alonso played very deep on Tuesday night - almost in line with Ramos at the back
If he does that he is almost playing three at the back with the full backs transforming into wing backs - unless the player that drops out is a center back.
