I am hoping that will be the deciding factor for ML. Its easy for him to spot talent, us to agree a price..... but getting that commitment from a player looking to play under him will be more difficult if ML is in his final year himself/not committing further. I also imagine HJ wants an improved compensation clause in the small print. Hopefully ML makes up his mind a bit quicker than the Buck extension took last year ....it seemed to drag on and on and ...
Nice to see but what's the piece of paper worth? Seems like a guy who would only sign if he meant it but who knows - jumped around before and would be sure to get a lot of interest.
