Well, hardly setting the world on fire with these two players who aren't regular first team players with Spurs.

If they've been brought in to strengthen the squad let's hope their wages are no more (or less) than the squad players that have been released.

Outs since end of 2010/2011 Season

    Jean Makoun - Olympiacos Loan
    Jonathan Hogg - Watford Undisclosed
    Luke Young - QPR Undisclosed
    Stewart Downing - Liverpool £20M
Ashley Young - Manchester Utd £15-17M
    Brad Friedel - Tottenham Free
    Isaiah Osbourne Released
    John Carew Released
    Robert Pires Released
    Nigel Reo-Coker Released

    Ins

    Jermaine Jenas Loan
    Alan Hutton Undisclosed
    Charles NZogbia £9.5M
    Shay Given £3.5M

That's a lot of dead wood outs and few good looking (if not spectacular) ins, should make the balance sheet look better, Randy will have recovered the cost of Bent and NZogbia from the sale of Young and Downing, can't see the others swaying the books too much in either direction, the wage bill I would image has been dramatically reduced.

Thin looking squad though, MON would be proud.

I agree. AM is following on from MON, so let's hope the results follow on likewise.

Alan Hutton will wear the No.2 shirt while Jermaine Jenas has been handed the No.8 shirt (which were their Tottenham shirt numbers) as both get set for their claret and blue careers.
