If he held out a bit longer he could of got an England call with how bad we are

He will have John Pantsil to keep him company with Ghana

Well done Jeff <applause>. Surprised Pearce didn't want to take a look at him for the U21's.

Pearce is clueless, and would not pick anyone from the foxes!

Excellent prospect - the best forward we have developed since Heskey and Piper - want to see him get more starts for the first team.

We will probably lose him for the African Cup of Nations though. Bamba and Pantsil as well.

Him going and playing with and against some great african players can only be good for him, especially if he isnt getting through with us. I hope Pearson doesn't do a Gradel with him.

If he's called up, does that mean he's decided to play for Ghana, or do they call up anyone elegible? Maybe he would like to hold out for a call from Germany, or even as Proud_Fox says, England?:emoticon-0105-wink:

Well it looks from the story like he applied for a nationality switch, so he's opted for Ghana.

Hasn't Waghorn been doing quite well for the U21's of late? Probably a sign he's not completely useless- could be like a new player under Pearson.
Also, do you think Schlupp will go out on loan? We need to keep him playing, and we're out of the league cup.
