...remarkable progress continues ... Nathaniel Clyne will be having recurring nightmares ... Jeff did to "England's best" what he has done to the rest this season ... the watching Roy Hodgson must have thought that Clyne was playing in lead boots ...
He is terrific. Really flourishes in the LWB role. Can see people coming in for him in the summer - remember Man Utd had him on trial once!
Getting better every week, still a lot of work to do with his positioning but Jeff has been incredible this season and his progress has outdone anyones hopes or expectations
under sir alex, he isnt expensive enough for LVG Ill be first to say i wasnt thrilled when we had him and Konch as the LB choices, but i think the new formation has given him some support at the back so hes got more time to improve his attacking movement. Well done Jeff
He still looks a bit raw at times, but he is skillful and fast. I think we pretty much know our starting line-up now (with two games to go!) and Schlupp is very much part of it.
... Albrighton rightly got the plaudits against Newcastle for his deliveries for all 3 goals ... but guess what ... the two corners and the free kick were all won by Jeff Schlupp ...there was one cross today that he put in during the first half when he got to the by-line that was an absolute peach ... unfortunately nobody got on the end of it on that occasion ... but on another day ...
I think that was when he got onto the end of a ball no-one expected him to reach... even his own teammates don't give him enough credit!
Schlupp's crossing has improved massively this season. I just think he all round game has improved this season. The only thing he needs to a cool head when he does get in front of goal and a bit more positional sense which will come with experience
Yeah he is definitely coming on bit by bit. Still has his no brain head in the cloud moments, but overall an excellent attacking wing back for us who will be even better next season
... he is entitled to make the odd rick at his age - all part of the learning curve... what is really impressive is how he knuckles down to make amends rather than hiding - plus his sheer speed which enables him to recover...
Selling a player whenever a bit of cash is over will send up backwards, even if they are paying a little bit over the odds. The only way we should sell Schlupp/Mahrez/Schmeichel/Vardy etc. is if they want to leave
Jeff Schlupp surely is our surprise star of the season. Personally i have never rated him as a striker but have always thought he would make a decent left back. He has excelled down the left this season and apart from his erratic finishing (probably spent too long on the training ground with Waghorn) he looks very composed anywhere we have put him this season
... keep in mind he has at least 3 goals from open play (on a par with some of our strikers!) from a wing back position... his composure will grow with experience... not sure what Moulton is on LOL but Schlupp is now one of our most valuable assets ...
He has been brilliant but of his goals they apart from the Burnley they haven't really come from chances. His goals at QPR and Liverpool was 2 great strikers from distance and the Tottenham goal Vorm ****ed up. Not taking anything away from him just he needs to learn to have a cool head in front of goal. His missed pretty much an open goal at Everton and that one on one he had also against Everton on the opening day still hasnt landed
