Swansea City: QPR, Derby and Fulham target Jazz Richards
By Dafydd Pritchard BBC Wales Sport
Swansea City and Wales defender Jazz Richards is a target for Queens Park Rangers, Fulham and Derby.

QPR, recently relegated from the Premier League, and Championship side Fulham have both enquired about the possibility of a permanent transfer for the right-back.

Richards, 24, made 14 league appearances on loan for Fulham earlier this season.

The four-cap Wales international has a year left on his current contract.

With fellow right-backs Kyle Naughton and Angel Rangel at the club, however, Richards has found his first-team opportunities limited at Liberty Stadium.

Since making his Swans debut in 2009 Richards has made 39 league appearances for the club and had loan spells at Crystal Palace and Huddersfield, as well as the Cottagers.

The versatile full-back, who can also play in midfield, played in Swansea's last three Premier League matches of 2014-15.

But he is understood to be open to a move in order to enhance his international prospects.

Richards has been named in Wales' squad for the Euro 2016 qualifier against Belgium on 12 June.

Unbeaten Wales are currently second in Group B, behind the Belgians on goal difference with five games to go.

Don't know anything about him but we certainly need some proper full backs.

Would say it was a step up as first choice for what should be a 'top' championship side rather than 3rd choice at best prem right back

Also added motivation of playing himself into euro squad next summer

Jazz is a good Championship-level standard player. He needs to establish himself as a first-team regular somewhere. That will be the acid-test to discover if he can kick-on and develop into a PL standard player.

As well as full-back, he can play midfield which was his preferred option.

He can certainly do a job for you.

It's going to be a long summer with us linked to many different players all over again. This time they will be lesser known names but it's still going to be a circus!
It would be fascinating to know which ones Sir Les and CR are genuinely interested in.

Surely we should be looking at those not quite good enough for premier league selection in either newly promoted teams or the likes of WBA, Villa, Stoke etc?
Or ones ''on the way up'' as someone so rightly put it, to try and strike a balance with youth and experience.
