With Rangel to be out for about a month, this is jazz's chance to get himself in the mind of Rodgers, and also other prem clubs...Maybe in the shop window?
He could do him self a lot of favours if things go well for him.
Busy fixture list coming up as well

mmm I am concerned with this news - Rangel was awesome going forward... Still no choice be to give Jazz a chance, lets hope he blows us all away... Question though, can Caulker play right back? Just encase we need options.

I was thinking more along the lines of Caulker into the centre with Monk on the right?

Happy to see Jazz get a chance and possibly Blackburn will be the best time to try and bed him in

Very happy to see Jazz be given this opportunity (not about Rangel's injury - this guy has been very, very good offensively). Given a match or two to bed in and solidify his confidenence and get some understanding with Dyer and he will grow into the role - just as he did in the Championship at left back. He is not going to let us down. Definitely prefer him at right back over Monk. Definitely prefer Caulker alongside Williams. The alternative might be to play Moras at right back - but I'd prefer Jazz be asked to step up.

I am not sure about his pace, but let's be honest, Rangel is not exactly a speed merchant, so we might actually gain something.

Whoever we put there it's going to be a holding operation until Rangel returns. As much as Jazz should be given a chance, I wonder if Moras can play there? He is a vastly experienced player and we are entering the critical pre-Xmas period where everyone is jostling for decent points to kick on in the New Year.

I'm sure that Jazz won't let us down in any event but whoever plays there we are likely to lose the attacking edge that Rangel gives us. Bad news!

To be honest I see Caulker coming in at right back, though I would love to see Jazz be given a run of games to see what he can do!...................

Hasn't Besson played at right back before for us, or am I mixing him up with Serrán? Anyway I think Rodgers will go with Richards, and may rest Monk for Caulker too!................

Serran played RB quite a few times (got 2 assists in one game!) but I don't remember Bessone playing there... I think he's pretty one footed!

I forgot about Moras, but wasn't he on the bench on Sunday and they still picked Jazz? If that was the case then I'd guess Brendan probably go with Jazz again... I can't see Monk doing RB, I think he get taken apart imho... Could Tayls play on the opposite side and allow Bessone on the left?

Moras doesn't look all that good to be honest lads.

I'd give Jazz a chance Saturday. If he plays poorly, then we need to shift Monk on the right and Caulker in the centre.

Really don't see Monk cutting it on the right somehow...

I'd be much more inclined to do it the other way around... Monk in the centre and Caulker at RB. Jazz should start though...
