Just thought I would put it out there that Simmo played 72 minutes for Millwall today as they lost 3-0 to Brum today. Think we should keep an eye out for how well he does for the Lions whilst he's out on loan
Think Chris Wood had been mentioned a few times on here as a possible centre forward for us. What has happened to our "gives us a different option" Adestrolla?
I was wondering the same as you.. has NP had second thoughts on big Dele? with the 5 subs rule he won't even make the bench and if that's so then why did we buy him. Many of NP's signings have been positive, big Dele remains to be seen..
tigercity, the 5 sub rule was brought in right before the new season AFTER clubs had already made signings.
On a similar note, Cullen played about 40 minutes in Bury's 4-2 loss to Rochdale, his third appearance, no goals yet.
To be fair to Cullen he's been injured for most of his loan spell. Not sure if he's actually started a game yet - I may be wrong there mind you.
He started against Huddersfield, but came off after 23 minutes(I think due to injury), then then came on as a sub two weeks later, then didn't get his third game for another three weeks.
Cullen is another that is no good in CCC and never will be IMO. The best he offers is energy. He'll run all game but do nothing with the ball and cant score. I reckon his level is league 2 or league lower than that.
Atkinson has played six times for Plymouth, scoring twice, not that it seems to have helped them much, they've got only one point out of the opening seven games.
He's been on the bench for all the league games so far, he's only made one appearance for them and that was in a Johnsons Pot of Paint Trophy game.
Only reason I know is my mates a Hudds fan so usually keep an eye on them and he text me to say how Coops played
Jamie Devitt played all 90 for Bradford on Saturday. Didn't score but was fouled twice resulting in penalties which were scored in a 2-2 draw.
