What has happened to this very talented player, 21 goals last season, cannot get a game in SC first choice 11, it seems his work rate is well below what SC requires of his players, or is there other reasons, whats your thoughts posters.

He's marmite, either love him or hate him. I'm sure if we weren't top of league and winning a majority of games he would be getting more starts as SC tried to find a winning combination but we are winning and we are top of a league so he has to wait in the wings for his chance along with everyone else who hasn't been getting a look in.

Whilst he's a great player and one of the most talented down there he is probably the laziest too. If you put him in attack over Wilbraham you'll get a better attacking player but you'll be defending with 1 man less. I think Cotts prefers it the other way around. This is probably the last season we'll see of JET, doubt he'll get a contract extension but there will be a queue of clubs waiting for his signature.

It would not be the biggest suprise if he left for a small-ish fee in January.

He's talented (and seems a decent guy), but I'm not sure he fits into the Cotts way of playing.

SL said on the radio that people had to go out for people to come in - this could be one of them

After the show on Sunday and the alleged out to 5:00am Saturday night,Sunday morning stint i think it is curtains for a player that has undoubted talent.

Agree fully- JET has been referred to as a luxury before and to stay where we are, I don't think that we can afford to carry him- Sort of player that does nothing and then pings a beauty in from 35 yards- When on form, he can look unplayable but doesn't happen often enough. I suppose if it did, he would be playing at a much higher standard.

I fined it sad really to see this very talent player going down hill fast, can JET perform like we know he could, somehow I have my doubts. Remember his performance that Tuesday evening last season against Port Vale, he scored a hat-trick & was a class above League One standard, in fact it was Premier League standard. He is another, Lee Trundle, fantastic skill but lacks what is needed to be a team player. Go on JET, please prove me & others wrong & that you can show the football world what a great player you could be.

    Spot on

Dont spoil a successful team. If JET is unhappy (not that I'm suggesting he is) and wants to leave in January then let him go. This is about promotion as a squad, it's not about individuals

Chelsea fan: JET is like your best player.
Me: You've never seen him play then.

He is an inferior Freeman and if he had the work rate/was an athlete then he'd be in the prem.
He played well against Gillingham and looked like he'd fit in an average league 1 team, which we aren't.

I wish him well bit he should join a team like Gillingham or Crawley. It would be best for everyone.

For me, JET is a great player, but not a great forward. He's the kind of player that needs to be in the middle of things, otherwise you won't get a peep out of him.

Personally, I reckon he'd be a much better option for us as a midfielder. He's strong, he can pass a ball really well, and he's his technical ability is better than that of other players in this league.

For too many years we have carried the burden of players who really don't give a damn about wearing a City shirt and it's time to clean them out and I think JET fits the bill exactly. If you don't want to play for us, or are deemed to be a luxury, then it's time to set sail down the wibbly wobbly way to where you think you should be.

Self opinion doesn't count in the real world unless you can back it up with the necessary actions to prove yourself and, although JET is more than capable of achieving good things, he came with the instructions on his label and if I think back we were warned that he could be an habitual under-achiever. What does it take to make his type of player realise that he has the world in his hands (Laurie London?) but is seemingly incapable of grabbing the good life on offer. How many more can you name that fits in the same category?

Keith Fear was similar, a wonderful talent that was wasted.
