Hey I just thought that Javier Hernandez although had a amazing season scoring 20 goals, and he looks like he will score anytime, I think there are still parts of his game he needs to improve. Such as Dribbiling and Long shooting and general link up play. I believe if he improves these aspects of his game, he would be one of the best strikers in the world. He reminds me alot of Eto, and villa, great movement and finishing. But these 2 players have more to thier game that just scoring such as beating a man. If hernandez does improve thoose above aspects, he will be world class-nodoubt. Your Views?
His holding up the play and touch/dribbling skills need improving, but i don't think he'll ever really need to shoot from far out. He sits on the last line of defence so will probably never be in the position. I'd also ask him to bulk up, but if that takes anything away from his pace or movement then bugger it.
Remember it was his first season in the PL, he has time to improve in the next 2/3 years, and become world-class as you say.
He needs to learn how to dribble, the game has evolved I'm afraid, and only goal poaching isn't enough. Like the Barca game, he was practially usless. Look at the modern goal poachers, Villa and eto, both are amazing dribblers.
He does a job at the moment surely you don't want much to change or he may stop scoring, things like dribbling are not needed for his style of play. The only points he should be improving on are his basics first touch, passing and his reading of the game.
The problem against Barcelona was not the strikers as a striker is only as good as the service to him. If the midfield were better, Hernandez would have got better service and he would have scored goals. The game may have evolved but the object is still to create opportunities for the strikers and for the strikers to score, Hernandez does his part in that.
kamran is infamous for having literally no idea about football.hence why he bleats on about one of the most prolific young strikers as though he has seen him and has an informed opinion on him.when obviously he is an arsenal fan with a peanut for a brain.
The best goalscorers never had much skill. Lineker, Rush, Inzaghi. All they knew what to do was score. Then nothing else really matters. This lad will get better I am certain of it. He wants to learn and with the type of players he has around him and of course the manager he is bound to improve. I think he will surpass 20 goals next season.
Agree. However tell that to posters like Kamran and Nolhman. All they know of football is from FIFA 2011 played on a PS3. They think unless a forward can use incredible skill and pace to outfox 3-4 defenders and then lash the ball into the goal from 25 yards, he's useless.
Anybody who disagrees with me is clearly wrong. I've never been wrong about anything in my life. I am superior to all of you.
