This from the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33606604 will he be missed or was he surplus to requirement ?
Never given a chance here - apparantly we had lots of 'better' strikers?? Loaned back to a Spanish club last season and City want him off the books asap. Shame really.
Very strange situation. From memory he started one league cup game under young/gabbidon. Bournemouth played us off the park at the CCS, raced into a 3-0 lead. He was ****ing terrible but so was just about everyone else. His attitude didn't look great but neither was anyone else's that night. In a few sub appearances he look to have a few very nice touches, 5 in 13 after playing no football for the first half of the season shows he'll score if given the chances. We can't miss him because we never had him from a first team point of view. Part of me feels we may have missed a trick but that's been a regular occurrence recently.
Just paper talk not news. And yesterday's chip paper at that. Yes he will go but no one willing to pay either what we or he wants.
Surely we'd just rip the contract up. The issue is we're probably paying him so much the ****er will want some of the next 2 years wages.
Guerra While he wants first team football he doesn't appear to want to give up the level of income he has with us. Perhaps understandable at 33.
Seems to be yet another of the football mercenaries who want their cake and eat it. If it's going to cost us to release him then I would keep him, run down the contract with the development team and prevent him getting a last big pay day elsewhere. No time for these wasters.
