I'd rather go for Jordan Rhodes

 

Blackburn paid £8m for him and reported to be on £50k+ a week. Can't see anyone putting up that and more to pull him away from Blackburn.
Be interesting to see where our wheeler dealer goes next. Wee need that fourth striker, but he needs to be younger for me, so he can develop a partnership with Austin (agree Rhodes would be perfect, but out of our price range)

 

If Watford are interested in him he'll be a proper footballer, which would be nice.

Surely if Rhodes were that great a he'd be playing in the Prem. People have been going on about him for 3 years.

 

I'd rather pay that for Rhodes than £6m and bigger wages for jermaine Thursday Defoe

 

Yeah, no one has actually been impressed enough to front up have they...is he really that good?

 

Exactly, I think he scored 29 goals last season in a team that was nearly relegated. Defore will be worst nothing in a year or two and we will all be wanted to get rid of him like we do with the other wasters.

We could end up with Rhodes worth £10m+ in 2 years.

 

Would be happy with the signing of Lowe - young, english and in a position that we need players for (full back)

 

Also Captain material which shows the right sort of attitude, something we need and Harry is trying to instill...
