On a short term deal until the end of the season. http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/168/8602664/brown-gets-ipswich-deal Wish him all the best and I hope he gets some game time. A 30 he still has a good few years before he has to hang up his gloves
He has made 38 first team appearances (some as sub) in seven years since leaving Priestfield. I guess he has made a bit of money keeping the bench warm for all those years but it is a pitiful tale that he will tell his grandchildren.
Imagine sitting down and saying "I've played in the Premier League against Manchester United, saved a penalty against them, I've played in the SPL and championship........". It'll be a truly embarrassing to tell them he has been a number 2 to the likes of Brad Friedel and Paul Robinson. glad I'll never be able to tell my gradchildren anything like that. He's achieved more in football ever will, and he still has many years to achieve much more.
