Banton's loan to MK Dons ends on Jan 5th and will probably return to Palace.

While at the Dons he started 14 and subbed 3,scoring 3 goals...but has started only once since mid-Nov.

Sheridan admires Banton and could try to get him back for a second loan...but others could also be interested in him.

Sheridan will possible inquire again for Matt Parsons,Palace left back who he tried to bring at the same time as Banton.

Left back has been a hard position to fill,Berry has been played out of position there and loanees have not done well.

Ben Purrington has successfully played the last two games in that position, but at 17yrs old it is maybe too much to play him all the time.

I know a few guys involved/follow the youth set up who have been at a loss as to why it took so long for Ben to get at start, especially considering the dross brought in and playing players out of position. There are players of his age playing in the Prem we are Div.4. A major failing for me is Sheridans use of our youth we have some real potential there and we are in the lowest league perfect time to build. Purrington, Young, Richards, Allen, Harvey have been fringe players at the best, Vassel who knows.. I still think we have a signing manager rather than a discoverer of gems and considering our finances we could have done better.
