Headline says it all really. The young striker has joined the Exiles for a month. He is with them until October 15th. Malky Mackay told the official website: "The loan move should allow Nat to gain some much needed first-team experience. "I'm sure he'll do well for Newport over the next month and they'll see what a good young prospect Nat is. We'll keep a close eye on him while he's with Newport and look forward to welcoming him back in to the Cardiff City fold on his return. Hopefully he can make the most of the opportunity and gain from the experience." Jarvis scored his first senior goal in Cardiff's 3 - 1 win at Oxford in the Carling Cup last month. Nat scored for Newport today in their 2 - 2 draw with Barrow so a good debut .
Can't do the lad any harm. but if he is seriously going to be challenging at a decent level,,,,,,,,,,,,he should be picking up experience at a higher level (no disrespect to Newport) but if he has ambitions of turning out in the Championship, well he should br playing at L1 or L2
I think that was his 3rd game for Newport. I see the Argus every day and always read County reports and comments. Good to see him notch for them but the media view over there, which is usually supportive of Newport (unlike WoL for Cardiff), is that he is very energetic, puts defenders under pressure, runs the channels but lacks composure for the end product - goals. Pretty much the impression he gives for us. However, this is at a lower level so if he can hit the net more often, his confidence will improve, and maybe we will see a more assertive player on his return with goals in his boots.
Glyn when wr going to catch up and have a pint or two? ,anything in the pipeline for a 606 get together.
