Just seen this on the BBC website, http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/motorbikes/9425411.stm. It seemed likely, but a good move nonetheless as Japan need to concentrate on things other than motorsport right now. I'm sure everyone agrees with me that the most important thing right now is to find the people still missing, and help those affected to rebuild their lives. On the positive side though, its good to see they have agreed another date for it in the future, avoiding the problems the Bahrain F1 race will experience in rescheduling.
totally agree with you,but the way things are panning out in Japan don't be surprised to see it cancelled all together
I think Motegi is north of Fukushima etc that got badly hit, so has been cut off from the rest of the country. But yes, the safety of their people comes first. And reading that article, there were cracks on the tracks and damage to the grandstand, which would have taken a while to repair anyway
