Only posted because there is a pretty title tag available.

Capture the three tons of horseshit here. So far
    Zarate
    Yakubu
    Defoe
    Keane

    Stan,

Pity the contents (ie our potential targets) doesn't live up to the "pretty title tag". Good effort in getting this started.

But January transfer window is notoriously difficult, and our record in the January transfer window is notoriously ****e

Yep, I expect us to get a couple of pretty uninspiring loans in, that's it. I think the days of the board throwing away £20m in January are long gone, thankfully. I'd like to see Jack Robinson back from loan and given a chance at least.

From that list I'd take Defoe and Keane on loan.

Mine has the proper blue tag. Get with the programme Totally! I'm sure Nines will merge as and when.

I think I'd also give Sinclair a go.

It'll be interesting to see how much business gets done now that Mr Fernandes is understandably distracted on more important matters.

    From a SCUM website...:

There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it, Tomas Kalas's loan to 1.FC Koln has been an unmitigated disaster. The 21-year-old defender, impressive in very limited minutes for Chelsea last season, was the first player to head out on loan this summer, presumably signifying just how strongly the club felt that Cologne would be an ideal placement for him. After a grand total of zero minutes of competitive action (plus two games for Cologne's reserve side in the fourth tier), it's turned out to be nothing of the sort.

Understandably, rumors were already flying in November that the initial year-long loan would be cut short in January; today's report from kickeronly further confirms what is sure to be an inevitability. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever for Kalas to stick around at one of the worst teams in the Bundesliga.

Instead, it would appear that he'll be switching over to one of the worst teams in the Premier League!

"We have been negotiating the situation surrounding Tomas Kalas and there are a number of options from the United Kingdom and the Netherlands."

"One of them indeed is Queens Park Rangers. We want Tomas to play regularly and would like to have his future sorted out before the start of the transfer window, so that the matter is concluded to the satisfaction of all parties concerned."

Andros Townsend ISN'T coming to QPR. Let's get over that.

I think too much emphasis is being put on getting strikers at the moment. Of course, we need to get a couple in but I think a greater issue is our lack of service for the strikers. I think we need to either get a good, skilful attacking midfielder in or change our system and lineup a bit to incorporate our more creative midfielders. I.e. to have a solid player like Henry in the midfield and allow Krancjar or Hoilett free roam in the middle (or someone better we can get in). Our current system has Henry (who can do a good job there) and Barton (who doesn't offer much going forward at the moment). We have decent wingers but wingers are somewhat easy to deal with when teams have good, premier league standard defenders with a decent game plan. We also need to cause trouble just outside the box in the middle of the field and dominate possession there.

Harry doesn't have much time for unproven youngsters, though, does he?
