January transfers

ESPN said that Roma are looking at off loading Michael Bradley in January. Apparently Sunderland are interested. Wouldnt fix our striker issue and he would probably cost more than Rhodes but I wouldnt want him to go to Sunderland.

 

I wasn't that impressed with him when he was at Villa, but he's done alright at Roma; there'll be a few interested PL clubs if he's available.

 

Didnt he only play a couple games at Villa? I have always been impressed with him. He is easily the best American in the game. They said Roma want 10 million for him, might go for 6 or 7 I suppose. Doubt we would be interested for that kind of money but I thought id put it in here. Uh, they did say that he wants to come to the PL if he leaves Roma. I guess Roma needs the money or something.

 

In dreamland we sign Livermore and Long while taking Defoe on loan....

Although if I'm really talking dreamland Messi, RVP and Ronaldo....

 

Defoe is a goal machine. Would love that!!

 

I would suggest that it will happen. Long just needs to keep his head down until january now.

Is Bradley not a mate of Jozy Altidore in the USA squad ? But i suspect that Poyet may try and get Ulloa out of Brighton in Jan. twt as always.

Despite that lying **** Clarke saying that he was apparently a vital part of the team, he wasn't even in the matchday squads until the last game before the international break.

The injury apparently only kept him out for two weeks.

He played the game after the window shut, a cup game and one more league game, with the first of those games being his only start.

 

He's a very good player, but we'll have a lot of competition to sign him come January.

 

I dont know if they are really friends. Clearly they are both on the US squad.

Yes Tickles, he's really going to force through a move from WBA to Hull City Tigers. It's always been his dream to play for Tigers etc etc...
