Yep - ever since our offer of tuppence and a Delia pie for Mata failed we've hardly featured have we ?
I must admit that I expected a couple more signings. Arguably we already have the quality in the team to get by, but we have had so many injury problems already this season that I'm worried that more of our key players could get injured and we wouldn't have cover. This has cost us enough points already this season, and will probably cost us more in the future.
And it's made worse by all the teams around us making loads of signings, let's hope this Yobo bloke and Guitierrez are good players.

Mick Dennis reckons were hoping to bring in a loan player to allow Hoolahan to leave. Wonder who that player could be!!??
I would like both of fulham's new players, sounds as though we went for Mitroglou but weren't up for spending £11m and holtby clearly would have been good. Can't really say another club in the bottom half has added a player I would have really wanted.

It's the lack of any rumours whatsoever that bemuses me. Guthrie is probably the only CM I've seen linked. You'd have thought if we were serious about a quality CM, a bit more would have leaked out.
I saw something earlier that suggested we were waiting on Man City to see if it may enable them release Rodwell on loan.
No idea how reliable this is, but wouldn't say no!

I think Man City have said they aren't bringing anyone else in, so letting Rodwell go would slightly weaken their squad. He's a quality player I'd love to see here, but I don't see it happening.
