i'm glad it's only till the summer. one way or another we'll have to have a rebuild and i dont quite think he's good enough for a L1 push or a season in the championship.

i hope plans are being implemented for those we want to keep so there's less to do in the summer.

What were Smith and DJ like before they came to Charlton? I don't know, but they don't appear to have improved us. Smith looks lost, and DJ ineffective, afraid to try anything. In spite of Stockley and Miller's efforts we seem worse than before the window. Poor recruitment or poor management?

The players look scared, that is down to the Manager. I cannot believe how poor we are from the start of the season.

That's probably where all the backwards passing comes from. MIdfielders afraid to hunt for the ball in the way Cullen or Gallagher would. You end up with hoofball, but I don't believe that Bowyer tells them to play that way, there's just no other option, and we seem to lose nearly all the loose balls which result. We've been rumbled by the other clubs. Fleetwood were leaving several players deep in our half when Amos had the ball, or it was a goal-kick, it was like candy from a baby getting the ball back.

I thnk we need to reboot Kirk by letting him have arun somewere lower down the ladder. If he goes out on loan to someone in League 2, the winger might fit in?

If Harry Arter and Charlie Kirk had been half as good as many fans said they were we'd be a lot nearer the playoffs.

No point in bringing in bodies who won't improve the first team.

Always overpriced in this window - best we can hope for is a couple of promising loanee youngsters from the prem , like Gallagher, Cullen or Coquelin :emoticon-0148-yes:

Should also put Morgan and Davison out on loan to lower league - they need to be playing to improve and gain confidence

Speculation on ittv that the long term investment could be Famewo and Lee on a permanent which is a good thing IMO- desperately need another decent striker though as highlighted yesterday with Stockleys absence

I agree, but I think that neither is actually good enough to help us gain promotion out of this league and certainly wouldn’t be if we ever get back to Championship level.

Come the summer it will be time for JJ and TS to be ruthless. If they ain’t good enough then they need to be moved on and we need to pay money for better players.
