Transfer Rumours January Transfer Window

Lets start as we mean to go on by keeping all the transfer rumours in one spot for the next couple of months. I think we know we will likely end with exactly the same squad, but we can speculate and pretend we're a proper club.

If Cardiff were in for him and getting a sniff, I'd hope we would be. At 27 he is a good age. Yedlin is suspect defensively and this would give us a nice defensive option. Get an attacking left back and the defence would be sorted. I'd be surprised if Liverpool were willing to let him go with Gomez's injury. Alexander Arnold is injured too. They have Fabinho and if the other two were fit I could see Clyne moving on.

 

Obviously the Almiron saga has to be included too. We have a longstanding interest in his partner in crime too, Josef Martinez. Maybe the Almiron delay is because we are trying to finalise a 50m double deal for the pair...

It goes without saying there are no rules to the rumours you can make up. As long as no one tries to convince me Jak isn't a Man U supporter.

Ryan Gauld is supposed to be available in January. I reckon we will sign him or this Japanese lad from FC Groningen. Probably only want £2-3m for each. Much more our stamp.

RLC is well out of our league I fear. Probably do a Barkley/Solanke.

Kenedy I think will only sign if ownership changes.

Buy Kennedy and/or make the Rondon Gayle switch permanent

 

Got to make the Rondon deal permanent. He's not amazing but he is proper CF, does get goals and is capable of keeping the ball up top. Don't want Gayle back.
